How we make money
Adlega is a software company. We make money mainly by selling Adlega, our SaaS financial forecasting and planning platform. The software comparisons on this site exist because founders choosing a billing system, payroll provider or bank need to know what it does to their burn and runway, which is the question Adlega answers for the whole company.
The site can also earn money in two other ways:
- Affiliate links. Some links to vendors are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the vendor may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is marked "(affiliate link)" next to it, and every page that carries one says so at the top.
- Sponsored placements. A vendor can pay for a slot in a separate block labelled "Sponsored". The slot sits outside the editorial list and never changes its order.
What money never buys
- A verdict, a "best for" pick, a score, a rank or a place in a list.
- A different price, the removal of a weakness, or a softer description of a limitation.
- A link outside a labelled sponsored or affiliate placement.
We do not join affiliate programmes of forecasting and FP&A tools that compete with Adlega, so no page that compares those tools is paid by a competitor.
When Adlega is on the page
Pages that compare forecasting and FP&A tools include Adlega. They say "Adlega is our product" at the top, state the criteria used, include a paragraph on where Adlega is weaker, and place Adlega by fit, never first by default.
Links
Ordinary links to vendors carry no payment. Affiliate links and sponsored placements use rel="sponsored", so search engines do not treat them as editorial endorsements. We do not hide where a link goes.
Corrections
Prices change and we make mistakes. When a page states something wrong, we correct the page and log the correction with its date on the price changes and corrections page. We do not change a page's date unless its content materially changed. Report an error to [email protected].
How pages are made
The full process, including how prices are verified, how often they are re-checked, the stage scenarios behind every cost model and what "tested" means, is on the methodology page.
