Ramp Pricing 2026: Free Card, Plus at $15 a User, and the Bill Pay Fees Since June

Ramp, the corporate card and spend platform (not the pricing structure of the same name), costs $0 on its Free plan and $15 per user a month on Plus, plus a "platform fee based on team size" that Ramp does not publish anywhere we could read. Free is enough for most pre-seed and seed SaaS companies with a US entity and at least $25,000 in a linked US bank account. Two things the pricing page does not tell you: since June 1, 2026 Ramp charges $0.59 per ACH bill and $15 per domestic wire when you pay from an outside bank (free only from Ramp Checking), and Ramp no longer prints a cashback rate. The "1.5%" on most review sites is not Ramp's figure.

Plus is billed per active user, including the Auditor role; pending, deactivated, Guest and accounting-firm users are free (Plus billing policy). Annual billing "saves 20%"; Ramp does not print the annual per-user figure, and $12 is only our arithmetic on $15. Plus has a 30-day free trial, fees are non-refundable, and you can pay them with card cashback. Plans are on the Ramp pricing page.

Per year. The activity profile is our assumption: pre-seed $500K cash, 2 domestic wires and 1 non-USD payment of $3K a month, $4K card spend (10% non-USD), 3 users; seed $3M, 6 wires, 4 payments of $6K, $20K card spend, 10 users; Series A $12M, 15 wires, 12 payments of $10K, $80K card spend (15% non-USD), 30 users. Free plan costs $0 at every stage. Outside-bank column uses $15 per domestic wire and $20 per SWIFT USD payment; $0.59 ACH bill fees come on top. Yield: Ramp Checking 2% APY as of 10/13/2026, a deposit at First Internet Bank of Indiana, on all cash. Computed with our banking cost calculator.

Fees are small next to what your cash earns. On Free, the only published fee our startup pays is card FX on foreign spend: $144 to $4,320 a year. The yield column is the swing line, and it depends on the product. Ramp Checking pays 2% APY and is a bank deposit with FDIC coverage "up to tens of millions of dollars per depositor" through IntraFi's ICS sweep, pass-through conditions apply. Ramp's "Earn 4.62%" Investment Account is a different thing: a managed bond and fund portfolio (SIPC, not FDIC, "may lose value") whose figure is a yield to maturity on a hypothetical $10M, shown "as of 09/03/2026" and "net of an advisory fee of up to 0.15%" on one Ramp page, and "as of today" with "YTM excludes fees" in the pricing page footnote. Do not compare it with a money market fund yield. The advisory fee waiver ends October 31, 2026. Run your own numbers.

What each plan changes in cost

  • Free: unlimited cards, bill pay by ACH, card, check and wire, reimbursements, QuickBooks Online and Xero. Ramp's help center says there are no card replacement fees, late fees or interest on the card.
  • Plus: NetSuite and Sage Intacct, multi-entity, custom roles, "Global Coverage". This is the tier where the unpublished platform fee applies. The fee was added between November 15 and December 13, 2024 (Wayback), months after Plus went from $12 to $15 per user (between May 21 and June 27, 2024).
  • Enterprise: custom, annual billing, local card issuing in 30+ countries.
  • Add-ons: 1099 filing at $0.65 per IRS filing (state filing free). Accounts Receivable and Procurement add-ons have no published price.

Hidden costs and conditions

  • Bill Pay from an outside bank (Ramp help center): standard ACH $0.59 and standard check $1.99, "effective June 1, 2026, with a 3-month grace period" for existing customers; same-day ACH $10; domestic wire $15; SWIFT USD $20; overnight check $20. Waived from Ramp Checking except overnight checks and check attachments. The pricing page still says "Free wires and same-day ACH via Bill Pay", which is true only if you bank with Ramp.
  • Card FX: "This margin will not exceed 3%." Older Ramp blog posts described the card as having no foreign transaction fees; the current help center is the one we use.
  • Rewards on foreign spend: the Rewards Terms exclude "foreign and non-USD transactions", so a foreign SaaS or ad bill pays up to 3% and earns nothing. Points accrue "at a rate and in an amount determined by Ramp", require on-time payment in full, and "are subject to changes, including elimination, at any time". Cashback can be redeemed into Ramp Checking but "cannot be redeemed into a bank account". The help center says cashback "will not expire"; the terms say unredeemed rewards are lost if you close the account.
  • FX on international bill payments: "Ramp may include a margin on foreign exchange", visible to admins in-product only.
  • Your vendors may pay: payees can pay for faster payout. One Trustpilot reviewer wrote "Paid the unnecessary 1% fee to receive my money within 24h." (Jordan Sweidan, July 10, 2026, Trustpilot). Ramp does not publish that fee on the pages we read.

Who can sign up

Ramp's eligibility article asks for a corporation, LLC or LP (no sole proprietors), an EIN, a US physical address (not a virtual or registered agent address), most operations and spending in the US, and "at least $25,000 in cash in any US business bank account linked to your application". That minimum was $75,000 until 2024 (last seen March 4, 2024; $25,000 by October 14, 2024); some review sites still print $75,000. Owners without an SSN can apply with a foreign passport. No personal guarantee; limits are set from linked cash or revenue.

Ramp is not a bank. Its cards are issued by Celtic Bank, Column N.A., Sutton Bank and Lead Bank, depending on the card.

Not hands-on tested yet: we have not opened an account with Ramp, which requires a US company and identity checks. Fees and rates come from Ramp's published pricing page, fee schedule and help center, read on October 13, 2026.

Ramp charges Plus customers a "platform fee based on team size" on top of the per-user price. It does not publish the amount, so you get it from sales or in the product.
