Rippling Pricing 2026: No Price on Its Pricing Page, What Rippling Says Elsewhere, and What Buyers Report
Rippling publishes no price on its pricing page. Since about September 2025, rippling.com/pricing has been a quote form only. The figures Rippling still states live on its marketing pages and blog: a platform from $8 per user per month plus a base fee ($40 on one page, $35 on another), US payroll from $8 per employee per month billed annually or $10 billed monthly, and an employer of record (EOR) from $499 per employee per month. Buyers report a median of $45,645 a year (reported by Vendr). It fits a startup that wants payroll, HR, devices and spend in one system and will sign an annual contract; less so at pre-seed, where the $40 base fee is over 40% of the bill for three people.
What Rippling publishes, and where
Until at least August 5, 2025 the pricing page title read "Starting as low as $8 Per Month". By September 10, 2025 that line was gone (Wayback Machine captures). Rippling stopped printing a price rather than changing one. What is left, read on October 13, 2026:
- Platform. The small-business page: "Starting at $8 per user per month. Plus, a $40 per month base fee." The pricing FAQ says every product is bought "alongside the core, required Rippling Platform".
- US Payroll. Rippling's payroll review (updated June 17, 2026): "$8 per employee per month billed annually, or $10 per employee per month billed monthly." The December 2025 version of the same article said "Payroll at $35 per month per user".
- EOR. Rippling's Rippling vs Deel post: "starting at $499 per employee, per month." No per-country price is published.
The base fee conflict. Rippling's own HRIS review (updated August 31, 2026) says the base HRIS module "starts at $8 per employee per month, with a base fee of $35 per employee per month". The December 2025 version said "$35 per month", so the "per employee" wording looks like an editing error. That still leaves $40 on one Rippling page and $35 on another. Ask for the figure on your order form.
PEO, Global Payroll, contractors, benefits, time, IT and Spend show no price. Contractor and global payroll prices quoted elsewhere do not appear on rippling.com, so they are not here.

What buyers report paying
Vendr, which tracks software purchases, reports a median of $45,645 a year, range $5,860 to $186,673, across 289 purchases (reported by Vendr, page dated February 2026, read October 13, 2026). Earlier captures showed $44,363 (203 purchases, February 2025) and $40,122 (233, February 2026). Vendr's editorial text adds $4 to $12 per employee per month for each module, $2,000 to $5,000 for standard implementation, and $15 to $35 per employee per month all-in for teams of 10 to 50. For PEO, FitSmallBusiness reported $85 per employee per month in a 2024 review without saying how it got the number; treat it as old.
What it costs at pre-seed, seed and Series A
At Rippling's starting prices the software is small next to employer taxes and benefits. The EOR fee is the line that moves runway.

Startup Stack: six months free, 18 months signed
Rippling's Startup Stack terms give venture-backed new customers the first six months of recurring subscription fees and the implementation package free (EOR: the first three months). The conditions:
- A product demo first, then an order form signed within 30 days of it.
- "The Order Form minimum contract length must be eighteen (18) months" for 1 to 50 FTE; 24 months above 50. You pay full price for the remaining 12 or 18 months.
- EOR deposits, currency conversion and wire fees are excluded.
Contract terms that bite
From Rippling's Customer Terms (last updated July 2, 2026):
- Seat minimums. "The number of Users cannot be decreased during the Subscription Term."
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews for the shorter of the initial term or 12 months unless either side gives written notice at least 30 days before the end.
- Non-refundable. Fees are payable at the start of each term and "are non-refundable". Failed debits cost $25; late amounts carry 1.5% a month.
- The renewal cap and its fine print. User-based fees rise at renewal by no more than the greater of 5% or CPI-U, but measured against the prior fee "not including any time-limited offer or promotion". The jump from Startup Stack free months to full price is not capped. The cap also applies only if scope, payment terms and user count are unchanged and the prior term ran at least a year.

Rippling's own pages say the platform starts at $8 per user per month plus a base fee ($40 or $35, its pages disagree), with US payroll at $8 per employee billed annually or $10 billed monthly on top. Each extra module is priced separately. Vendr reports $15 to $35 per employee per month all-in for teams of 10 to 50.
Does Rippling have a free plan or free trial?
No. There is no free plan and no published trial; Rippling's own multi-state payroll post lists "No free trial" among its cons. The closest thing is Startup Stack: six months of fees free for venture-backed companies, on an 18-month minimum contract.
Is Rippling billed monthly or annually?
Payroll is quoted at $8 annually or $10 monthly, but the Customer Terms describe auto-renewing terms paid up front. Expect an annual order form (18 months under Startup Stack).
How much does Rippling EOR cost?
From $499 per employee per month, per Rippling's blog. Country prices are not published, and Rippling requires EOR deposits whose size is behind a login.
How much does Rippling PEO cost?
